Penelope

Penelope is my sweet Blythe girl. She test fits all of my clothes designs to make sure they are comfortable. I love sewing for her because she never complains about how long it takes to fit a pattern. No matter how late it is, she is always patiently waiting next to my sewing machine, ready to help me at a moment's notice. (The pajamas and bunny slippers she is wearing were made by me, as are the clothes she wears in the sidebar photo. )

I love Blythe dolls! And I love fabrics! Oh, and yarn, too! So I guess it was only natural that creating clothes for Blythe became a passion of mine. On this blog, I hope to share how clothes for Blythe dolls can be made. All it takes is a little yarn or fabric and a dose of patience.

Hmm.. what else.... Oh yes, I would like to thank my husband for understanding my passion for making all these tiny clothes. I am very happy that he does not think it is (too) weird that I love making clothes for Blythe so much. :o)

It is hard to believe that I only discovered Blythe in 2007. I am so grateful for all the lovely, generous friends I have met in the Blythe world... from around the world! They never cease to amaze me with their creativity and talents. I would like to thank all my Blythe friends for always encouraging and supporting me! :o)
